POSITION SUMMARY:

Red E is looking to hire an EV Charging Network Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a fast growing company, in a red hot industry, with direct visibility to the executive team. The position will be located at our headquarters in Detroit, MI. Candidates should have a Bachelors in Engineering (BSME, BSEE, BSCS) though other disciplines that meet the below criteria are encouraged to apply. The role will comprise but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • EV charging software/hardware testing and interoperability testing

  • Vehicle OEM interoperability testing

  • Plug and Charge development

  • Configuring EV chargers to meet customer requirements

  • EV charger commissioning

  • Software development

  • Database management 

  • React/JavaScript/TypeScript coding

  • Express/Node coding

  • Data analysis

    Ideal candidates should also have the following qualities:

    • Passion for the automotive industry and EVs in particular

    • Punctual

    • Valid driver's license in good standing

    • An appetite for road trips and adventure

    • Entrepreneurial spirit
